The RKX silicone throttle body intake tube is a quick and easy install. This tube by itself will offer a smother intake path to the supercharge. It will also give a slight increase in supercharger whine.
The stock airbox is not a bad setup and can easily be modified to increase the whine to your personal preference. We highly recommend using a higher flow air filter as well

The exhaust system had the baby resonators replaced with a Magnaflow resonated X pipe and the center H pipe and resonator removed and replaced with straight pipe. This can easily be performed by any competent exhaust shop for a very affordable price compared to a full system.

The SQ5 has exhaust flaps in the rear mufflers to help control cabin noise and drone. Most people looking to modify the exhaust and get the maximum sound will probably want to keep the valves open all the time to get the maximum sound. This can be done by pulling the fuse to the system or if you prefer to have complete control over the valves, we recommend using the AWE switchpath flap controller. In this video the exhaust flaps are fully opened up via the AWE switchpath method.
